What we collect

• Details you send us. When you use our contact, catering or cake order forms, we collect what you enter: your name, email, phone number and the details of your enquiry or order (such as event date, number of guests or the cake you would like).
• Website usage. Like most websites, we may use cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed. This information is collected in a way that does not directly identify you.
• Content from other services. Some pages show content from Google (maps and reviews) and Instagram, and link to Uber Eats. These services may set their own cookies and are covered by their own privacy policies.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, prepare your catering or cake order, and run and improve our website. We don’t sell your personal information, and we won’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We only share information with the service providers that help us run the website and our email (for example our website host, Google and our email provider), and only as needed to provide those services. Some of these providers may store information outside Australia. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only for as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it to us.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@michaelsdb.com.au.
