We want everyone to be able to find our menu, order catering and get in touch with Michael’s Double Bay, including people with disability and people using assistive technology.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, in line with the Australian Human Rights Commission’s guidance under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.

What we have done

• Clear headings and page structure, so the site works well with screen readers.
• Text descriptions (alt text) for meaningful images.
• Readable text and colour contrast, and pages that work when zoomed or on a phone.
• Menus, links, buttons and forms that can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus.
• Labelled form fields, and animations that respect your device’s “reduce motion” setting.

Content from other services

Some parts of the site come from other services, such as Google reviews and maps, Instagram and Uber Eats. We choose these carefully, but we can’t fully control how accessible they are.
